Soldier sits with legs wide open on train, makes woman uncomfortable

STOMPer Gary saw this man in army uniform sitting with his legs wide open on the train, making the female commuter beside him uneasy.

Said the STOMPer:

"I saw this SAF serviceman this morning (Nov 29). He was so inconsiderate! He thinks he's king?

"Leg opened until so big and squeezing the poor lady beside him.

"From the expression on her face, I could tell she felt very uncomfortable. There were empty seats beside him, why must be open his legs so wide like that?"

Girls in cosplay uniforms advertise adult toys near SITEX, even with kids around

These girls in revealing costumes were advertising adult toys at Expo MRT Station's exits, placing themselves specifically to catch the SITEX crowd. SITEX is touted as a family IT show, and kids would naturally be present.

The company the girls were working for, wetwettoys, is an online retailer of adult toys that also sells cosplay uniforms.

STOMPer Jimmy voiced his displeasure at their advertising efforts:

"Is it appropriate for wetwettoys to advertise in public when there are so many youngsters visiting the SITEX show at EXPO?

"These people gathered at both sides of the Expo MRT station exit nearest Singapore Expo, bearing advertising boards and distributing sexy calenders."

This is not the only instance where STOMPers had complained about inappropriate activities in connection to SITEX. In an earlier article, STOMPer Pang had also complained that Singapore Pools had set up a booth at the family event, another company that did not fit the family-friendly theme of the event.

Bunnies crushed to death: Why are China women doing this to rabbits and cats?

As if killing one rabbit is not enough, the woman who was filmed sitting on a bunny and crushing it to death went on to kill other bunnies, with the help of her girlfriends.

The Facebook video of the first killing was first alerted to STOMP by STOMPerVernice.

One woman was seen placing a bunny beneath a piece of glass and sitting on the glass, crushing the poor animal to death, as her two girlfriends laughed.

In another email today (Nov 21), Vernice sent in more photos showing the same women apparently killing more rabbits, possibly my stepping on them to death.

Said Vernice:

"I was surfing the net to search for the video to show it to my dad.

"I came across a blog and uncovered even more horrific photos of how the remaining bunnies end up.

"ALL OF THEM WERE DEAD! My hands went limp after seeing the photo."

Another STOMPer who came across the video, Jin Jialat, said:

"I chanced upon this cruel torturing on an online video which was uploaded onto the net three days ago, and I am deeply sadden by the act committed by the China girl!

"I seriously condemn such acts and hope these girls will be arrested for the ill deeds they have done to this poor rabbit."

Cases of horrific animal abuse by China women seem to be rampant.

Just recently, on Nov 15, STOMP posted a story about a woman in China crushing a kitten to death with her high heels, disembowelling it and then posted the photos on the Internet.

And in 2006, another China woman posted pictures of herself stepping on a kitten and gouging its eyes with her stilettos.

7 youths attack man in Teck Whye: "Jail and cane them as an example to others"

A 26-year-old auxiliary policeman bumped into a youth on the way to the supermarket. For this, he was beaten up by 7 youngsters. STOMPer Toomuchfeels severe punishment is needed to make an example of them.

This is the latest in a series of violent attacks involving gangs of youths that have occurred all over Singapore, in places as diverse as Bukit Panjang and Ang Mo Kio.

A group of youths was also found with a pair of concealed choppers at a Pasir Ris chalet, while two teenagers have been placed in a Reformative Training Centre for knifing fellow students.

Although these incidents are believed to be unrelated, they were all caused by trivial events such as staring and arguments.

STOMPer Toomuch wrote:

"These violent incidents involving youths are seriously getting out of hand.

"Time and again we hear of incidents where members of the public are getting targeted by youngsters spoiling for a fight.

"This time, an innocent auxiliary policeman just passing by was attacked, because he was walking in the opposite direction of a group of youngsters. He tried to squeeze past them, and was beaten bloody for it.

"These youths have no respect for the law and are just out to pick fights with people in public.

"We need to arrest these people and really make an example of those caught by caning or jailing them. That's the only way they will learn that the law is not to be messed around with."

STOMPer Gao Luck also commented:

"Yet again I heard of another case of a gang fight at Teck Whye over the radio.

"Come on, when will all these attacks stop?"

"Teens charged with possessing choppers shouldn't be out on bail"

A group of four teenagers have been released on bail yesterday, after they were arrested in a Pasir Ris chalet for possessing two choppers. Their arrest comes in the wake of recent slashings at Bukit Panjang and Downtown East.

STOMPer StopAnimalAbuse was appalled by their audacity and felt that the youths should not be out on bail.

The STOMPer said:

"I am appalled by the audacity shown by these seemingly innocent looking teenagers.

"I wonder why the police let them out on bail so easily.

"From the look on their faces, they do not show any signs of remorse or fear at all.

"So what if there is a curfew? The curfew time of 10pm to 6am is too soft and doesn't send a stern enough message to these gangsters.

"Anything can happen between 6am to 10pm. Why do the law enforcement team allow these walking time bombs back on the streets before they were punished?"

Muhammad Faiz Muhammad Effendy and Nurul Aisyah Osman, both 18, were charged with carrying an offensive weapon under the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act, where an 'offensive weapon' includes any instrument which is likely to cause hurt if used as a weapon.

Muhammad Faiz is alleged to have hidden a chopper under his shirt while Nurul Aisyah apparently had another chopper in her handbag.

Azad Khan Azlan, 17, a student, was charged with consorting with persons carrying offensive weapons.

Another girl, who cannot be named as she is a minor, also faces the same charge.

All were arrested at about 12:05am last Saturday at the Costa Sands Resort in Pasir Ris.

S'pore student made child porn: "How could 'elite' school produce such a monster?"

23-year-old Singaporean student Jonathan Wong has pleaded guilty to 17 charges of making hardcore child pornography while studying in the UK. 50 video clips were found on his computer depicting graphic acts with children as young as 6 years of age.

Jonathan had graduated from Hwa Chong Junior College and Chinese High School and was said to be a Ministry of Education (MOE) scholar. He was studying at the University of York in the UK at the time.

His case had come to light when schoolmates discovered his audio files in the university's internal network. On investigation, 50 video files were found in his computer by the police. The video files featured girls that looked as young as six, and about half were rated in the 'most severe' category of child pornography.

He will face sentencing on December 13.

STOMPer Horrified wrote:

"What a perverted sicko! What on earth has happened to our vaunted education system?

"How could our 'elite' schools have produced such a monster?

"He looks like a perfectly normal student, but his actions are so horrendous. I hope he pays the price for his sick behaviour.

"People like this are an absolute disgrace to Singapore and to decent people everywhere."

Another teen slashed in AMK: Why are youngsters carrying knives around?

Yet another teen was slashed yesterday (Nov 18) at Block 448, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. This follows a recent spate of youth slashing incidents involving teenagers carrying weapons such as knives and parangs.

Teens seem to be walking around fearlessly with weapons, even after islandwide raids and arrests, in relation to the murder of 19-year-old Darren Ng at Downtown East and the Bukit Panjang attacks, have been carried out.

STOMPer Gao Luck says the increase in youth violence and teenagers carrying knives are worrying trends.

He says:

"I was shocked to hear about another case of youth violence in AMK where a teen was slashed yesterday.

"Two youths had apparently got into a loud dispute and after a shoving match, one of them whipped out a knife and slashed the other on his right arm.

"News reports said the victim left a blood trail, stretching from outside a fast-food restaurant, across Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 to Block 445.

"The victim was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

"Why are teens bringing knives around these days and why are they becoming so hot-tempered and getting angry over trivial matters?

"When will all these senseless attacks stop?"

Ouch! These sports pics will make you flinch

What a painful sight! STOMPer painfulsports winced when he came across these photographs taken at sporting events.

The STOMPer shared:

"These are the not-so-pretty moments of sports.

"The timing of these photos couldn't be better -- they've captured the perfect moment when the ball lands in the face.

"You may laugh but those of you who play sports would know the pains that sportsmen and athletes endure and the high risks they face on the field.

"Guys, just pray you never get kicked where it hurts."
